Carson is 4

Carson had is birthday last Sunday... I can't believe he is 4... He is turning out to be a pretty great kid. He is so helpful and excited about everything. Brady and I really wanted to get him a castle and knight stuff because we just knew he would love it. I had been looking every where and couldn't find a castle under $60... I didn't really want to spend that much but was very tempted... finally on my last attempt to find one I thought I'd run over to TJ Max and Rosses... You never know what they will have... That is when I found it. There were 2 Castles on the top shelf, where I almost missed them... They also happened to be on clearance! I was so excited... It didn't come with any people and was actually a Prince Caspian castle but it was really just what I was looking for. We got him some playmobil people to go with it and he has just loved it.
He loved the car transporter that Grandma & Grandpa Hulse got him and "high jumping frogs" game that Oma and Papa got him... Thank you to everyone... He really had a great day!

The boys got one last year for christmas and it was easy to find, but that was over a year ago. I guess things change faster than I think they do. Like Carson being 4 now. How wonderful. Toddler Comic Relief

I just want to say that this was inspired by an old roommate, I was laughing so hard reading the funny things her little boy says.
-"Mom, my mosquito bites look like my nipples." Carson (Aug. 2010)
-Brady and I were being lazy and just laying in bed this morning when Carson walked in announced "Dad I'm getting hair right here just like you!" He was pointing to his upper lip... he just can't wait to be like his dad. (April 09)
-"It's not exciting to have another boy, it's exciting to have another girl." (Jan. 09)
-As I put Carson down to bed I always ask him who he would like to say the prayer which he usually says mom, but last night I asked him and he said "I will say it for you tonight because you are sick." It was pretty sweet. (Jan. 09)
-Yesterday, Carson and I made cookies. He had already had 2 today when he asked for another one. I told him no because I wanted him to eat a good lunch. This conversation was going on while I talked to my mom on the phone so I was rather distracted. I enter the kitchen and found Carson standing next to the counter with the cookies and a hand behind his back. I asked him to show me his hands and he said "no" so I said, "Carson if you take a cookie you will have to sit in time out." I left the room and I heard the cookie clunk back on the plate. I was telling my mom that he had put the cookie back and my mom told me to tell Carson the she thought he was a good boy. I did and this was his reply, "I don't want to be good, I just want a cookie."

-Carson told me that while they were at the gym child care a girl had called his baby (Wyatt) stupid. He said "It made me mad. Next time we go to the gym I'm going to call her a boy."
