Any ideas about what to do with the window on the back door? Kinda want to cover it because it creeps me out at night but I don't want to loose the light/sight in the day...

Our Sweet Baby Daxton
Our Sweet Baby Daxton was born August 1st 2011. He was a 9 lb 12 oz bundle of joy! I was so happy to not be pregnant any more! The labor and delivery went well and after 1 1/2 pushes he came quickly into the world. We love him and were once again surprised at how big our baby was, he had beaten Owens 9 lbs 9 oz... which I thought would be impossible. No matter though, he was healthy and that is what was important. We, I guess I should say I, struggled with his name. Brady really liked the name Dax but I just didn't know if that was "us" and I went back and forth with it for a while. When Monika came to visit she said there was another baby in the nursery name Dexton... humm...what if we added the "ton"... I liked that better and now Brady could call him Dax... So that is what we did, I swore I would never have a baby with a made up name but now I do and it's not so bad ;)
My mom was able to be with us and the boys to help out which I loved! So much had to be done at the time with moving and packing and having a baby, we once again couldn't have done it without her. She and Grandpa took Wyatt and Carson to our Hutchison family reunion at Bear Lake, while Brady and I stayed and slept pretty much the whole time they were gone. That was nice and the boys loved it and I was so glad that they didn't have to miss it but sad that I had to miss it...
They all love their little brother but Owen loved holding and kissing and touching and holding again the most... He is surprisingly very soft and cautious with him, which is a relief.
Cortney came to visit for a day or 2 after Bear Lake and took some super cute pictures of Daxton. It was nice to have her come. Here are some pictures she took of Dax at 1 wk.
Isn't he the sweetest?

Living
Can't believe we have been in Reno for almost 3 wks! I thought the day when we would be together again and in our first home would never come, quick update for those of you who weren't in the loop: Brady got a Job at UNR, we had our 4th boy, Daxton Ivar Edwards 9lbs 12 oz August 1st, less than 2wks later we moved out of our apartment in Orem, the boys and I moved in with Brady's parents and Brady moved to Reno to start teaching. Six weeks later we bought our first house and moved to Reno to be together again. While it was a hard six weeks without Brady and living from suitcases, it was a good six weeks. We had a great time getting to know Oma and Papa better and now we miss them terribly... The boys loved being ever so close to so many cousins and being spoiled and loved my their grandparents. I couldn't have done it without so much family around, Daxton was 12 days old when we moved in, a time where you really need a husband around. I am so grateful for the family the filled in while Brady was away!
So now the "fun" part that I have been dreaming of for what feels like forever... We have a house, a house that needs cleaning, painting, weeding, and a little fixing to make it our own.
Brady and I came for 4 days back at the end of June looked at maybe 10 houses... prayed... then picked one we thought was best for us. It was a short sale unfortunately... which meant we had to wait, and wait we did right up to the 90 day limit that Nevada has set for short sales...
I was so thankful that my mom was able to come help as we CLEANED(!!!) and unloaded our stuff to the new house. The house is pretty, has lots of the stuff that we had wanted in a home and it's only 6 years old. The issue with the house was the family that lived in it burned A LOT of incense and when I say a lot it means there were black smoke lines all over the walls. We assume that it was religious, they were Indian. IF my mother hadn't been there to help I think I'd still be just staring at all that had to be done... if you remember we only saw the house once for about 15 mins... with all of their nice stuff in it, it didn't look bad, then you add in the 6 wks I had to just think about it and how I thought I remembered it... anyway I was shocked at how dirty they had left the house.
3wks later I am over the shock and excited to do everything the way I want. We literally need to paint every room... So far we have painted the halfbath downstairs and this weekend we worked on the loft (I want to call it the library but it's not sticking... yet)... just needs some touching up. I love it! The loft, I mean, library had the worst smoke stains on the walls... and with them gone it feels sooooo much better! I'm so excited to get to the decorating part I can hardly stand it... but sadly the only thing I have put on the walls is a clock in the kitchen... but because every wall needs a good scrub and some paint there is just no point.... yet.
So now I need color ideas for my kitchen/family room area... nothing crazy but something cute... any ideas... its the one area I'm stumped in...
THE HOUSE!
Just wanted to stick a picture of my super cool fridge that I love... got it off craigs list... after wheeling and dealing with them I got it for $650... this is a $1500 fridge and its only 2 years old!
The walls are not done here and if you look close you can see blackish lines going down the wall... no sure why the smoke stained it where the studs were the most....
I painted my table, well the bottom half and stained the top... just couldn't bring my self to put my old ugly table up in my new pretty house the way it was... I've been wanted to do this for a long time and now here it is... notice I now need pretty chairs!
This is my kitchen! it is currently yellow... not really a bad color but it, like the rest of the walls look dirty... and if you look to the left they changed to green for the family room area, and I hate that line there so we will be going with one color for both rooms...
But what color? this is the counter top... something to go with this? It's just kind of black and brown and light brown and cream...
This is us... at Daxton's blessing before we left Utah...
Now I will go to bed and lay there thinking of all the things I want to do, I love this and I love my life... my life is not perfect and it continues to be hard but I have people that I love and the gospel of Jesus Christ to fill me with hope.

SumMer TImE!
The boys loved it... The train ride actually took longer than it was supposed to due to some problems so on the ride back Owen and Wyatt fell asleep but we still had a good time.
Owen didn't care for the loud train whistle that blew every time we crossed a road.
(You may have noticed Owen wearing a hat in every picture... it's just about his favorite thing right now)
These are just some fun pictures we took of the boys.

My Grandma Hansen passed away, which was sad but not too unexpected. The funeral was beautiful and I loved hearing all the stories of my Grandma. I have such a wonderful family! We traveled to Ely,NV for the funeral and then on to Reno...
Brady got a job at UNR, for which we are very excited. Never thought I'd be moving to Reno... Brady and I got to go check it out a few weeks ago (Without the kids! Thanks Hilorie and Randy!) and I'm still if-y on how I feel about the place. I've heard lots of good things about the area from people that have lived there so I am hopeful... We really felt good about taking the job and moving out there... but it will be about 7-8 hours away from our closest family. I know I will miss the little family gatherings with Brady's family and with my sisters... It also puts a few extra hours onto the drive to see my parents, which is already a long drive. Nevertheless we felt good about it and I keep reminding myself that.
6 days after getting home from Reno we left to Arizona for my brothers wedding. We had a great time and stayed busy helping my mom get ready, swimming and shopping. Every part of the Wedding turned out beautiful... My mom is amazing! Everything she did turned out great. She made all the little nieces dresses and all the nephews bow ties. SUPER CUTE!
(the colors were white. black. gray. and yellow)
Carson and Owen out on the dance floor!(sorry I should have touched these up before I posted them)
(Wyatt got sick and threw up on the way to the reception, Brady was sweet and took him home and let me and the boys enjoy the party, so sad we didn't get pictures of Wyatt)Being 8 months pregnant I'd have to say it was hot! But I lived through it and my family kept saying I wasn't as grumpy as the last time I came when I was almost 8 months pregnant with Owen... I think that was a good thing...
We got home yesterday and are all feeling a little sluggish from all the traveling but we are doing good. Now we are packing, cleaning, and waiting for this baby boy to come! We are going to be induced Aug. 1st... but I'd love for him to come next week.
We have a lot more left to do this summer, keep us in your prayers and we just might make it through!

I Can't Find My Feelings!
Last week they talked about feelings... The Pools' made these cute little faces on sticks representing 4 different feelings. (happy, grumpy, sad, and scared) Wyatt loved them! and because Wyatt loved them so did Owen. After church there was quite a scuffle and Wyatt came running shouting "Owen took my happy! He is trying to steal my feelings!"
That particular Sunday Wyatt didn't fall asleep in church so after church as we watched a church movie with the boys he fell asleep then. He woke up groggy saying "Mom, I can't find my feelings!"
We thought it was pretty cute...

Wyatt
Wyatt turned 4. He is such a fun kid and is loving being old enough to do things that Carson gets to do, like run down the street to play with friends (our street is very quiet and they usually only go 2 houses away). I love that he is getting older too, in most ways. I always miss the baby part of them but it is so fun to watch them grow and be independent... we'll see how I feel about that in 10 years though... He always has a kind word to say to me, "Mom, I like your hair." or "That shirt is pretty on you" (even at times when I'm still in my jammies). He is pretty sweet. He loves riding his bike and playing on PBS kids. He loves to play pretend and while Carson is at school he often recruits me into his games... I usually don't have to do much, he does all the talking and tells me what I should be doing, it's pretty fun to watch. He is very into Batman right now so that is one of the things he got for his birthday... he loves it.
He loved all his gifts... Mr. Potato head (thanks Oma and Papa) is often the bad guy in the games, it's pretty cute.
I made him a batman cake at his request that turn our pretty good.
Carson drew him a nice picture and a card.
We went to Trafalga (mini golfing) and to Carl's Jr. (because it had the biggest play place) for his birthday and it was lots of fun. We have some really great boys!
