Ok so any guesses on the gender of our baby to be?

Well I'm betting most of you guessed wrong...
We are having a BOY!
We are really excited and grateful to know that he is healthy and growing the way he should. I can't lie, we really were thinking we'd get a girl, every name we came up with was a girl name, but the two boys we have now are so darn cute there is no way we wouldn't take another one. Although, and I think it is just me but when the ultrasound tech was showing us his "out door plumbing" as she called it, I couldn't tell what she was pointing to. Our other two boys were very unmistakable... but this little "guy" had his hand between his legs and made it tricky to see (which the ultrasound tech laughed and said was a defiant boy thing to do). So we will continue to believe the expert opinion of our ultrasound technician until the day comes that she can be proven otherwise.
We came home and told the boys that they were going to have a baby brother, Carson's first response was, "no I wanted a sister." He then said "it's not exciting to have another brother, it's exciting to have another sister." Wyatt's response was a rather uncaring "huh," (little does he know). After talking to them for a while Carson came around and finaly said, "mom, I change my mind, a brother will be exciting."
Brady says that it is my genes that led to our 3rd boy (my mom had 4 girls before she got a boy, my sister will be the same way, depending on the order her twins come out). But I kept telling him that it is the man that carries that stuff when babies are made... he just shakes his head.
I guess it could be my fault a little too (not that 3 boys are a fault) but I hate being pregnant and this time around with 2 boys to chase after I kept telling Brady that if it was a girl then we just might be done having babies. So I guess Heavenly Father would like us to have more children in the future... far off future...

I guess I just want to take a minute and brag about my husband. I don't think when I married him I realized just how lucky I was. I'm not saying that he is perfect or that our relationship is perfect but I do have to say he surprises me some times that I think he is pretty close to perfection (at least for me). Last weekend was a long weekend for us because Brady didn't have to teach on the Monday holiday. We were talking and he said that he kind of wanted to go up to his parents house and hang out. We agreed that it would be fun. Then I got to thinking of all the things that I would like to get done. I had an idea... I asked Brady if he would be willing to leave me home while he and the boys spent the weekend up with his parents. He didn't really even hesitate, he said sure.
While they were gone I got so much done and I really enjoyed myself but I missed them a lot too, which I hadn't expected that to set in so quickly. It was Sunday when I missed them the most. I was at church and everyone asked me where my family was, my response was that Brady took the boys up to his parent to give me the weekend off. All the women I talked to would say "wow that would be so nice," or "my husband would never do that." It was rather fun bragging about Brady because he is a really great guy. He did say when he got home that I could never die because he could never be a single parent... He was such a good sport about the whole thing.
It's really nice to have them home too, even though my spotless clean house is once again in shambles (j/k).
It's good to have you home honey!

This picture is older but I think it is a fun one of Brady and the boys!

The Holidays!

The Edwards Holiday Adventures!
We started by having a great time at Oma and Papa's house for a family party. We all had a blast talking, eating and hanging out (we were sad that McKell's family was not able to be there). The little cousins had so much fun playing together, we had a good snow storm that weekend so they got to play outside in Oma and Papas new back yard. Oma helped all the kids make a candy house (I think Carson ate more than he put on his house, though from the pictures you may find that hard to believe). We topped that off with more great food and then a very fun slide show of Brady and his family back in the day. It was fun to see a little resemblance between Brady and the boys.

We also had a fun treat when we got to drive our new van down to Arizona to to see my family. Everyone was there! It was a very full house with 20 of us but everything went so well and we didn't even fill squished. Even with the two pregnant ladies, Monika having twins (yeah!) and yes we are having another one too.

I was fun to let the boys play outside in the nice weather! Although we did get a little rain but it was still so nice.

Christmas morning was so fun and the boys just loved everything. But the best part was a big surprise from Grandma and Grandpa.

Grandma and Grandpa (it being Corntney's idea) rented a bouncy house for Christmas day and the day after. The kids were in that thing 24/7, even the big kids got a chance to bounce (I stayed out because of queasiness).

The kids also had a blast because Cortney got a kitten, which I really enjoyed too and now I'm a little kitty hungry. We had lots of girls outings and Brady and I got to go to the Mesa temple (which I think that temple is beautiful). We went and saw the lights at the temple and picked a lot of yummy fruit! We just had so much fun a week wasn't long enough!

Anyway there is a little glimps into our fun holiday adventures! We hope your holidays were just as full and enjoyable as ours!
Happy New Year!
